What
is Blood Pressure?
Blood Pressure is the force applied by blood on
the walls of the arteries. It changes continuously depending upon
the psychological state of mind, level of relaxation, food, temperature,
drugs and the level of activity at the time of measurement.
What are the dangers of High Blood Pressure
Continued High blood pressure can cause serious
complications like heart attack, blood vessel damage, kidney failure,
damage to brain, loss of eye sight etc. In day-to-day life, blood
pressure can cause tiredness, chest pain, tremors, vomiting and
heartbeat sensations.
Normal Blood Pressure
It is generally below 130mm Hg Systolic and lesser
than 85mm Hg Diastolic. However, variations can happen due to age
factors. Blood Pressure readings are recorded as 130/85 i.e. the
systolic blood pressure/diastolic blood pressure.
Measuring Blood Pressure
There are many types of measuring gadgets available
in the market. They use different technologies. However, the common
factor is the use of a Blood Pressure Cuff which is wrapped around
the upper arm starting one inch above the elbow. A rubber bulb is
used to inflate the cuff. The cuff is connected to a pressure dial
of mercury for the measurement of the pressure.
The pressure is raised by inflating the cuff to
a level which is higher than the expected systolic pressure. There
after the valve on the cuff is slowly opened to reduce the pressure.
As the pressure reduces, the doctor with the help of stethoscope
tries to hear the first sound of pulsing. This is the systolic pressure
as shown on the dial at that moment. The pressure is further reduced
by slowly opening the valve. The pressure level at which the sound
disappears is recorded. This is the diastolic pressure. The test
should normally be conducted after resting for a minimum of 5mts.
Treatment
The objective of High Blood Pressure treatment
is lowering the Blood Pressure to normal levels and reduce the possibility
of developing dangerous conditions mentioned earlier. Currently,
several approaches are adopted by the medical practitioners. They
may include beta-blockers, diuretics, calcium channel blockers and
several other types of drugs. Many of these have side effects. Some
major life style changes like exercises, weight loss, diet changes
also help.
What we offer
The treatment offered here for lowering Blood Pressure/Hypertension
is an extremely simple and natural system with no side effects,
no complications and at practically negligible one time cost. It
reduces the Blood Pressure effectively in a few days. You need to
practice the technique only for a few minutes.
